“They do a really great job transitioning students from Grade 6 to Grade 7, and then again from Grade 8 to Grade 9. So, those two really key transition areas they did a great job of including the students in all kinds of different activities that got them familiar with the school, which I think is really important. So, they felt pretty comfortable walking into the school on the first day for those two big years, Grade 7 and 9, knowing where to go, knowing who they'd see and what to expect.”

“I have two children at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Teagan is in Grade 8 and Daniel is in Grade 10. I love the sense of belonging that the teachers and staff create for students. Both my children feel welcomed and want to go to school to learn. The academic support they receive is very strong and I know they’re getting the tools they need for success in the future.”
“Our family relocated from Red Lake to Kenora, which meant moving our daughters at a delicate age – Grades 7 and 10. St. Thomas Aquinas High School reached out to us even before we arrived, which really helped our transition. Within their first week, the girls felt accepted. They like going to school every day, they’re involved in clubs … and they love their teachers. We felt the school went above and beyond to make sure my family was taken care of, and our girls welcomed.”
